Part 12
Xuan Kong Feng Shui and the various chart formations (Cont.)

The Pearl String Formation

Formation 14 - The Pearl String Formation
The 3 stars in each palace are running in a sequential manner;

(1, 2, 3)
(2, 3, 4)
(3, 4, 5)
(4, 5, 6)
(5, 6, 7)
(6, 7, 8)
(7, 8, 9)
(8, 9, 1)
(9, 1, 2)

The interpretation on this kind of formation will depend on the conditions that are met. Below summarize the various configurations.

The setting is deem as very auspicious if the ruling star in the center palace is the same as the current age and with external features like a mountain in the front and water in the back to enforce this setting.

The setting is deem as neutral if the ruling star in the center palace is the same as the current age but without external features like a mountain in the front and water in the back to support the setting.

The setting is deem as inauspicious if the ruling star in the center palace is different from the current age but with external features like a mountain in the front and water in the back to support the setting.

The setting is deem as very inauspicious if the ruling star in the central palace is different from the current age and without external features like a mountain in the front and water in the back to support the setting.

Hi,

I have to say that the information on this website is fantastically helpful and clear. I have learned so much just by visiting this website. However, due to my own lack of experience and knowledge, I am confused about this statement "The setting (pearl string formation) is deem as very auspicious if the ruling star in the center palace is the same as the current age and with external features like a mountain in the front and water in the back to enforce this setting."

"with external features like a mountain in the front and water in the back to enforce this setting." Isn't it contradicting the mountain supporting back and water benefiting the front principle?

Thanks
